A strong swirl of the glass releases the fresh aromas of rose petal, raspberry, and red currant that lie within. Abundant rich red fruit flavors are generously supported by spicy oak and vanilla flavors as well as broad tannins. A wine possessing both power and grace, it promises to develop beautifully over the next 15 years.
High in the hills of Diamond Mountain, Sori Bricco spans two hillsides with different sun exposures resulting in separate harvest dates across the ranch. The soil is composed of a sandy, gravelly loam and the vines tend to be very small as they struggle against the slopes. The climate is warm in the early spring and these vines are among the first to bud each year. Warm summer months produce nice flavors, while cooler nights offer long hang time to gain tannin maturity each season.
