Intensely fragrant, this debut release opens with white blossom and floral spice aromas offset by mineral
freshness. The palate is silky with fleshy white peach nectar and golden plum flavors deftly balanced
by citrusy acidity. Subtle tropical notes and mineral accents lift the finish.
Stretching across the renowned Rutherford Bench, DeCarle Vineyard’s Sauvignon Blanc blocks are situated at the toe of an alluvial fan that extends from the western Mayacamas range. Comprised of fluvial river deposits and gravelly clay from the Bale soil series, these well-draining, structured soils combined with the upper Napa Valley’s warm, sunny climate give us Sauvignon Blanc with vibrant acidity, flinty minerality and ripe stone-fruit and tropical flavors.
