2018 EnRoute Marty's Vineyard Pinot Noir
Winery Exclusive
While we generally steer clear of personifying a wine, it's a challenge not to compare the graceful botanical perfume, the vibrant red fruit flavors and the lithe, supple finish of this gorgeous Russian River Pinot Noir to a contemporary dancer. Balanced, strong, enduringly elegant.

Tasting Notes
With a dried floral perfume best described as elegant and botanical, this vibrant Pinot Noir offers a beautiful balance of bright red fruit flavors and forest floor characteristics. The palate is silky and layered, with lithe berry and subtle chocolate notes almost flowing into a soft yet lingering finish.
Vineyard Notes
Marty’s Vineyard is in the very cool area of Green Valley in the Russian River Valley. It sits high atop a hill overlooking the Russian River Valley and is often blanketed in fog until midday. Sandy Goldridge soils along with the vineyard’s coastal proximity create vines that are balanced, require minimal – if any – water during the growing season, grow and mature evenly, and ripen without seeing temperatures above 88 degrees. The resulting grapes are filled with spicy red fruit notes, elegant tannins, and concentrated flavors.
