Tasting Notes
Approachable yet cellar-worthy, this debut vintage leads with a luscious cherry-floral perfume, with soft espresso and spice undertones. The palate is generous and loaded with velvety tannins, red cherry and berry flavors, along with hints of cocoa and raspberry preserves, along with the dusty-earth accents that are hallmarks of the Rutherford Bench.
Vineyard Notes
An artful union of Cabernet from two extraordinary estate vineyards, this is Bella Union’s first estate-grown and Rutherford-designated wine. Both vineyards stretches across the western Rutherford bench, where the well-drained loams and open exposure yields concentrated Cabernet clusters with juicy red and blue fruit flavors and supple tannins.
