Our single-vineyard chardonnay from Grand Sky Vineyard entices the senses with intense aromas of tropical fruit, lemon zest, and fresh pear. The palate is rich and engaging, filled with bright flavors of wildflower honey, green apple, and nutmeg. Firm acidity provides a bright finish of citrus and graceful minerality.

Tasting Notes
A fragrant perfume of honeysuckle, tropical pineapple and crushed stone opens onto flavors of fresh pear, peach blossom, and subtle spice. Cool minerality and bright acidity balance the generous, silky palate and lift a finish that is long and full.
Vineyard Notes
Truchard Vineyard lies in the heart of Carneros, prized for its rolling hills, sun exposure and cool, breezy conditions that allow long, even ripening. Nickel & Nickel makes wine from fourteen select acres of this 270-acre vineyard, composed of volcanic ash and rock with a southwestern exposure. The growing season tends to be long in this cooler area, allowing for fully mature fruit at harvest.
